PRO3 Racing wrapped up another successful year, and 2022 was the 20th Anniversary of the racing class conceived by Wes and Ken Hill, and then ably promoted by Lance Richert. The 20th Anniversary Celebration was officially celebrated the weekend of July 16th and 17th at Pacific Raceways. The hope was for 50 PRO3 cars to participate in a special race. They almost made it with 49 cars taking the starting flag. We’ve got some photos of the group and they are epic!

The championship was hard fought throughout the year. There were 17 point races and Corey Peters and Matt Lowell tied with 281 points. Corey won the championship with more wins. Of note: there were 52 drivers who scored points. PRO3, which uses BMW E30s, is the biggest class in local amateur racing.
