Leading up to the 2018 Summer Car Show on July 29th, we believe there’s no other way to promote the event than posting more awesome stuff on 2002s. Opened earlier this month, the BMW Car Club of America Foundation’s museum in South Carolina is featuring THE ICON: 50 Years of the 2002 exhibition.

Twenty-seven BMW 2002s from collections across the country assembled to display a spectacular variety of BMWs that everyone can enjoy and understand why BMWs are the Ultimate Driving Machine. The museum exhibition groups the 2002s into 4 categories: Stock, Variants, Modified and Race. Beyond the many colors and variations of stock examples, the Variants (cars never sold in the United States) include the world’s best 2002 Vollcabriolet, Baur Cabriolet, Turbo, Touring, and an ultra-rare Lux.

Check out the BMW Car Club of America Foundation’s official website for more information on the museum and THE ICON: 50 Years of the 2002 exhibition.
