Description
Coaches drivers in advanced vehicle control, performance driving techniques, and track safety. Requires approval of the Club’s Chief Driving Instructor.
Details
The High-Performance Driving Education (HPDE) Instructor is responsible for in-car coaching of drivers on track promoting safety, driver education, and fun. Instructors are ambassadors for the program and are expected to assist drivers before and during the event to ensure that they have a great, safe experience. § Instructors will have graduated from BMW CCA Puget Sound instructor candidate program or from similar programs run by other BMWCCA chapters and car clubs. Instructors are expected to maintain and improve their skills with continuing education from seminars, instructor clinics, and active participation in HPDE events. BMW CCA PSR, PCA PNWR and ACNW honor each other’s instructors with reciprocal privileges. All instructors are subject to approval by the CDIs.
