The BMW Classic Car Club of America is for owners of BMWs built before 1996. This national, special interest group has been around for a couple of decades. John Margherita volunteered to be the Pacific Northwest representative for the BMW CCCA. John has organized an initial event for the group in June. Here’s John’s report:
As the BMWCCCA Northwest Gathering is fast approaching, I've gotten great feedback from a number of people that are very excited to have a Vintage BMW event in our area.
I've decided to try to get a handle on how many cars will be attending. The event is open to all vintage BMW owners, and we probably have room for 50 cars. There are about 25 BMWCCCA members in Oregon and Washington combined. One of the goals of this event is to attract new members.
I've created a Google Forms RSVP link:
I'm sending the link to OR and WA BMWCCCA members and non-members. Feel free to share it with any non-members who may be interested.
I know some of you have responded to me already and I have kept track of all who have.
Please take a minute to respond at your convenience.
If you are able to volunteer to come a little early to help with parking, please mention it in the comments section of the RSVP.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
John Margherita
